29th Annual High School Choral Composition Contest

Harmonium’s June 2026 concert theme is Ride the Storm which celebrates America’s Revolutionary ideals and today’s pressing questions of identity, justice, and unity.

NJ High School Musicians!

 Create a short original composition, a cappella or with piano accompaniment, using the text provided for the concert theme Ride the Storm.

Each entry receives constructive comments from the judges.

 Winner receives $1,000 prize and performance by Harmonium Choir in June.

 THERE IS NO PARTICIPATION FEE.

 Deadline is March 15, 2026

 We will be offering a free zoom session with composer Elizbeth Alexander January 26, 2026.
